About Us
Ms. Lynch
I am very excited to pilot the Co-teaching model in Kindergarten this year! This will be my second year as kindergarten teacher, but my third year at Leigh School! I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May of 2014 with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. This past summer I went back to school to get my Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (special education endorsement). In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love live music, reading in my hammock, and exploring the city. My educational philosophy rests solely on the kids! I believe that every child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically. It is my desire as a educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and encourages curiosity. I look forward to this upcoming school year and making unforgettable moments with my students!

I am very excited to be joining Leigh School as a Co-Teacher in Kindergarten. Kindergarten is such an important time for children. It is beginning their journey through school. I hope to create and provide a safe, nurturing environment with enriching, positive experiences that will help them to develop a love of learning. All students are given a fair opportunity to learn as individuals and given the support they need to grow, academically and socially. This year will begin my 20th year in the education field and teaching. My commitment to teaching includes a diverse background working in various grade levels. I received my Bachelor's from Northeastern Illinois University and have received endorsements in Art, Social Studies, Mathematics, Language Arts, and Learning Behavior Specialist 1, in both self contained K-8 and middle school grades. I live in Chicago, IL with my husband, 4 year old son, 2 cats, 1 dog, and many fish. We share our responsibilities as a family and dedicate ourselves to enjoying life and its opportunities. We love laughing, going on walks to play at parks, taking vacations, and cooking. You can often find us jumping in the car to find a new family adventure!
